Who We Are
Our Practice
Premier ABA Consulting LLC was established to provide superior applied behavior analysis and therapy to children. We have experience working with children with autism, Asperger’s, audio processing disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, cognitive disabilities and communication disorders. We serve a wide range of individuals with varying needs. We work to provide socially significant changes in the lives of our clients and expand desired skills sets. We strive to be culturally sensitive and respectful.

Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is a powerful tool for autism, and we as BCBAs are cognizant of the responsibility and the trust you place with us with ABA therapy in supporting meaningful change for yourself or a loved one.

Applied Behavior Analysis
“Today, ABA is widely recognized as a safe and effective treatment for autism. It has been endorsed by a number of state and federal agencies, including the U.S. Surgeon General. Over the last decade, the nation has seen a particularly dramatic increase in the use of ABA to help persons with autism live happy and productive lives. In particular, ABA principles and techniques can foster basic skills such as looking, listening and imitating, as well as complex skills such as reading, conversing and understanding another person’s perspective.”

Verbal Behavior
“Verbal behavior programs” are a part of ABA therapy. ABA programs supervised by BCBAs tend to emphasize certain techniques for autism, such as
- Ensuring that each of the verbal operants are carefully taught
- Giving careful attention to using reinforcement strategically and effectively including efforts to pair instructors with reinforcement
- Teaching manding at the beginning of programming
- Using a pairing procedure to increase vocalizations
- Using a “cold probe” data collection system (data are collected on just the first trial of a skill every day)
Parent Training
The Benefits of Parent Training
- More knowledge: When you’re trained in ABA therapy interventions, you’ll better understand what, how and why your BCBA does what they do.
- Improved behavior: A study published last year in the Journal of the American Medical Association discovered that when parents are properly trained (and not only educated), negative behavior in their child with autism is reduced.
- Expedited learning: practice makes perfect – and they will acquire the skill more quickly.
